Who is Yvette Adams ?
Yvette Adams is a serial entrepreneur and a multi-award winning business woman including winning the ICT Woman of the Year at the iAwards in 2013 and the Commonwealth Bank Business Owner category at the Telstra Business Womens in Queensland in 2010.She has started six businesses, two of which she has since sold.
The first was a newspaper that she started at the age of just 17 years old which she sold to an American entrepreneur after the first issue! She created her second business and first e-commerce site in 2002 – an online tee-shirt business. Within one month of launching she received a Government Grant and won a website award.
She lived and worked around the world for a seven year stint from 1998 to 2004, with stints working for magazines and newspapers, including a year long travel writing round-the-world assignment.Her level of expertise and delivery style has been recognised by Government and has seen her develop and deliver webinars, workings and programs for numerous Government departments, the most notable of which, the GetUpToSpeed program has up skilled 1000’s of people with essential digital skills, and which gained her company The Training Collective the Access & Digital Skills Award at the ANZIAs in 2014 (Australian New Zealand Internet Awards).https://youtu.be/kaS97ze8wRYShe has assisted thousands of business owners to either get online or succeed online and either establish or grow their businesses.
